We're back with another "Location Spotlight," which we hope will help as you choose the location that is perfect for your engagement photos. This location is certainly unique, since we have to take a tram ride up the mountain in the process (for those of you not in the know, we've included a photo of the tram). For couples who are on the adventurous side, or for couples who may have special memories of the tram, this is a location to consider. It does require more time than our regular engagement sessions, but if you're up to it, we'll make it worth your while with some dramatic and romantic photos.
So first, let's meet Jon and Jolene.
Jon and Jolene love the mountains, so Jon chose this location so their engagement photos would be in the Sandias. This engagement session was extra special because Jolene had never taken a tram flight, as the look on her face had shown when she realized how high we were. Thankfully, she thoroughly enjoyed it (or the photos taken at the peak might not have gone so well).
Jon and Jolene are planning a spring 2017 wedding at one of our favorite venues, Casa Roñdena Winery, and we're looking forward to their wedding day!
Next, we have Katherine and Jason. This couple traveled from Los Alamos to have their engagement session at the tram.
Katherine and Jason love the outdoors, so this location was perfect for their engagement session.
They're planning wedding which will take place this fall at the historic Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos, New Mexico. It will be our first time photographing this venue, and we couldn't be more excited. Rustic architecture and vintage decor? Surrounded by mountainous splendor? Ski lifts and even airplanes within walking distance? Yes, please!
Two different couples, two different dates, both with amazing results. If you love a little adventure, and sweeping views looking over the city of Albuquerque are your thing, or if you just love a dramatic silhouette photo as the sun is setting, the Sandia Tram and Peak just might be the perfect spot for your engagement session!
